How do I use Shower Witch to Clean my shower?

When you finish your shower, spray all your surfaces including the base.
Leave it to soak until your next shower (preferably overnight - not necessary though if you are cleaning regularly).
Use your shower head to rinse it all down with water.
If you don’t have a removable shower head, then clean the shower as you already do - by wiping it down or with a bucket of water and cloth.
Be careful to rinse off the base first in case it is slippery.
Just watch the soap scum, body fats and grime dissolve and disappear before your eyes.
A wipe down may help in extreme cases.
Use it only when you see a soap build up – not every day.

CAUTION! Will not remove hard mineral deposits (water spotting). Do a test spot if you have hard water and dark tiles. Shower base may be slippery after application so always rinse off first before showering.

What surfaces can I use Shower Witch to clean?

Shower Witch works best on Glass, Porcelain Tiles, Acrylic, Glass, Chrome, Enamel, Vitreous China, Plastic, Stainless Steel Marble, Stone etc. Although it is primarily used on showers as well as toilets, vanities & baths, you can also use it on your rangehood filter/washing machine or dishwasher as it’s an amazing degreaser for anything fatty or greasy!! Will Shower Witch remove lime/calcium deposits caused by hard water?

Shower Witch is more for cleaning soap scum and body oils rather than calcium deposits. If you have water spotting on your shower glass door then we suggest using our Tiger's Paw which will exfoliate these water marks off - but ONLY suitable for shower glass doors.

Will Shower Witch remove mould from silicon or grouting?

Shower Witch will only remove surface mould - but not if it is permanently sealed in silicon sealants or grouting.

How do I use Shower Witch for cleaning my washing machine or dishwasher?

Spray the Shower Witch on the inner walls of your machine (even inside the agitator if your washimg machine has one). Leave overnight and then put the wash on a short hot cycle to rinse the product off. Repeat only if necessary. This will dissolve the contaminants and flush them away.

Can I use Shower Witch on Venetian blinds?

Absolutely and with great success!!! Spray the blinds with Shower Witch in an outdoor area. Leave for a couple of hours and then rinse off.

What is the active ingredient in Shower Witch?

Non-Ionic and Cationic Surfactants ie a combination of specialised detergents.

How often should I apply Shower Witch?

Just whenever you see that soap scum and body fats are building up. That might be weekly or fortnightly, depending on what type of soap you use and how many people are using the shower.

Is Shower Witch biodegradable?

Yes it is.

Is Shower Witch OK in septic tanks/bio sewage systems?

It sure is! It biodegrades and will not affect or interfere with the aerobic on anaerobic bacteria that break down the waste.

How long should I leave Shower Witch on the surface to be cleaned?

Overnight is best as a minimum but if you are using it regularly then a day is great.

If I don't have a shower head to rinse the product off - what do I do?

Do what you normally do. Either use a bucket of water to rinse it down or use a cloth while you are in the shower to wipe the surfaces down. Firstly remove most of the residue on the base to avoid slipping!

Sorry to say but it does not work as claimed - the pictures on your home page are very misleading
Spray and rinse in the morning and the shower is magically cleaned - simply not true. Always needs a wipe or scrub, which I admit does come of with reasonable ease. Also I agree the smell is nice and does not affect my breathing coughing etc. like other brands.
I was using 30 Seconds but saw the ads and thought I might give this a go, a lot more expensive, but apart from the pleasant smell, I cannot justify the more than twice the cost of 30 seconds. In fact neither product does what they claim.
Sorry everyone, to clean a shower, some elbow grease is always required.

I'm sorry your experience with Shower Witch wasn't what you expected. Sometimes when using for the first time, or even if there is a heavier build up, then a gentle wipe over the surface after application will give an even coverage & therefore a more even clean. Subsequently future sprays then do becme a spray today, rinse tomorrow application.

I was very sceptical about purchasing and using this, however had nothing to lose. I got the combo with the tiger paw, soaked shower overnight, rinsed in the morning. Thought ok this is gunna need another go over but even so am very impressed with the start. You could very clearly see the bits I missed.
Just used the tiger paw while showering, super impressed huge results with little effort.
I will spray again tonight and soak, look forward to getting a shower I'm not ashamed of, again.
